I had many joyful journeys and memories to be thankful for in 2017, but I am going to tell you about the ones I adore the most. This also is my 20th blog post which I think is amazing!! If you have the chance please take a look at what else I have written and let me know what you think! Thank you and enjoy!
My husband and I decided to join a Discipleship school at our church. While we were their we went on many outreaches, organized a garage sale fundraiser, and we dived deep into the heart of the bible. As we dived deeper, my husband and I had been praying about if we should become parents.
When we decided to start trying I was not sure if I was ready to become a mom. We talked about the insecurities in my heart and when we were ready to try for a baby, it only took us 2 months to conceive. So now that its 2018, I am waiting with anticipation to meet my little baby boy. I loved 2017 with all the events and places we visited but I know I am going to love 2018 more because that’s when I get to meet my little man.
Now this is a simple event that happened last night but it was a blessing that it occurred. For many years, my husband has worked for a company that has him work on the holidays. I wrote about that in my recent blog Working on the Holidays. Last night I received a text from him saying that he was coming home at 11:40 due to the roads closing because of ice. I not only got to see him for the last bit of 2017 but I also got to give him a nice romantic kiss. Now that made my 2017 complete!
Here are some honorable mentions:
1. Decided to chop my hair off!
2. Ben and I had the privileged to be at two weddings this last year.
3. Ben and I became pregnant (which I already mentioned)!! Even though its been a bumpy road we are excited to meet our little one in February 2018!
4.Visited upstate New York! This was a spontaneous trip. We were headed to Thailand but I became ill flying to Thailand. We had to stop in Dubai for a week till I recovered. After I recovered, we decided to visit family instead of trying to continue to Thailand. This is a picture of Watkins Glenn
5. Spent some much needed time relaxing in Florida.

Happy New Year, Bethany! ❤️ Did you do anything special/use any special products to grow your hair as long as it was in the photo? I want mine to be longer 😊

It took me 4 years to grow it to this length. I used coconut oil, avocados and I know this sounds gross but mayo.
